EVERWOOD FALLS… a small supernatural community tucked up in the Colorado Rockies where witches, werewolves and vampires can live without fear of discovery, and those with curses they can’t control are sent to keep the existence of magic from being revealed to Mundanes.

Green witch Sage Summers is no stranger to curses. The night her power manifested, the park outside her apartment devoured a strip mall. Classified by the Magic High Council as too dangerous to live in the Mundane world, she’s made a life for herself in Everwood Falls with her organic produce, a weekly stand at the farmer’s market, and the best group of friends a witch could ever hope for. But isolation has also meant the loss of her family, as well as an ex-fiancé who decided to put her and Everwood Falls in his rearview mirror and leave the moment his hex was lifted. Good riddance to bad warlocks. But now that same ex, Dominic Storm, has returned to town with disturbing news. A coven of sirens has had their power stripped from them… and they believe the magic user responsible is hiding in Everwood Falls.

Everwood Falls has sweet paranormal romances with cozy mysteries and guaranteed HEAs. The series can be enjoyed in order or read as standalones, without needing to read the other books.

Genre: Urban Fantasy, Romance

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Overall Enjoyment 🎉🎉🎉

Did it grab and keep my attention? 🎣🎣🎣

Would I recommend it to anyone? 🗣️ 🤷 If you are a fan of Urban Fantasy.

Would I want a sequel 🕮 No ➖ Not for me, but there is a # 4 in the series.

Would I want to read more books by this author 📚  🤷 Maybe, but not Fantasy. The writing was okay, fantasy is just not my thing anymore. I used to like it, I'm not sure when my preferences changed. 😕

Trigger Warnings 💣💥Some magical violence

Spice 🌶 No

Plot twist 🌪 I  think there are always plot twist with fantasy because out of no where, BAM, a new super power 🪄, or oh look there's a dragon! 🐲

Tidbits 💻Even though this is book three in the series, I didn't feel like I was out in the dark not having read the first two. It says it can be read as a standalone and I agree.
This was a cute cozy fantasy in the charming small town of Everwood Falls. Sage, a green witch, is sent there (banished actually) because she can't control her super duper powers. Gideon is a merman and half siren. They team up to find out who is behind the attacks of witches and sirens. Of course, as promised, there was a HEA.

I deducted one star for pacing. It slowed down in the middle and then speed up at the end so I felt like she rushed the end to tie everything up.
Even though the overall enjoyment and grabbing my attention were both threes, I didn't deduct for that because it wasn't the writing or the story at fault, it was me. Fantasy just isn't my favorite so I won't deduct for that.

🎧Tiffany Vanlandingham - I normally don't rate the narrator but since this one came to me as one of her team members, I'll add that the narration was good. I did listen at a faster speed because she has a very sultry voice.
