The Bookbinder's Secret *DNF*
The Bookbinder's Secret by A. D. Bell *DNF*
Genre: Historical Fiction, Mystery, Thriller*, Books About Books, Romance*
The How/Why: Influenced by an IG influencer! When I looked it up on Libby it wasn't labeled as a *thriller or as a romance. Libby has it as HF and Literature. Google has it listed as HF, Mystery, Romance. It wasn't until after I started it and was updating in Goodreads where I saw it is labeled as a thriller. I may have passed because I just ditched a thriller for being too horrifying (Ask for Andrea by Noelle Ihli).

I don't rate books that I don't finish,
but I will say WHY when I've gone past the 20% mark.
💣💥 📢 Content Warnings? Google says: Vi0lɇncɇ, Physical AbŲsɇ.
I looked it up and it said roꞖꞖery, bɇatɇn, thrɇatenɇd with knivɇs. I can handle that!
UPDATE: The "roꞖꞖery, bɇatɇn" was not graphic. She was knocked down and her satchel was stolen. She got a cut on her head. I quit before any knife activities so I don't know if that was graphic.
🌶 Spice? No, good old fashioned forbidden love but no spice.
💻 Tidbits ~ I quit around the 25% mark. I was bored with it probably because I was having a hard time following/understanding what was going on. I don't know anything about the bookbinding business so I was lost.
I guess I was expecting more about the hidden letters being a treasure hunt to reveal a story, chased by a woman trying to make it in a man's world.
