🗣️Would I recommend it to anyone? Maybe 🤷 If you enjoy paranormal.

🕮 Would I want a sequel? Maybe 🤷 Not really but it DID end with a cliffhanger for the next one, The Rising Wing, which has a target release date of Summer 2026. 

📚 Would I want to read more books by this author?  Maybe 🤷 I don't think I'll read Book 2 but she has some others that might be of interest.

👟 Pace? Meh

💻 Tidbits ~ The audiobook narration was great, but I thought the story fell flat. I didn't buy the love connection. I felt like it was brought on by their powers rather than their chemistry together. Yes, this one is spicy. 
I wish she would have found out information about her father* earlier on and that story and relationships would have developed. Fear not, there is Book 2 waiting in the wings!

I received this audiobook from the narrator Tiffany Vanlandingham as a member of her Audiobook Review Team in exchange for an honest review. Honestly she did a phenomenal job. She toggles back and forth between characters with ease and definition between voices for a clear transition. This is a spicy book and her sultry voice really conveys emotion. 

In the prologue the author says "Please don't hate me but there is a cliffhanger at the end". Ugh! If you enjoyed this one, keep an eye out for The Rising Wing (Guardian-Hunter Book 2) targeted for release in the summer of 2026.

In the search for her father she discovers she was adopted and details of the murder of her family. Then it's revealed who her biological parents are, why they had to give her up, their roles in their world, and how they effect her paranormal powers. 
All that happened after the half way point.
I would have liked that to have happened earlier on and the book to build her connection with them. 
Maybe that will happen in Book 2. 🤷 There isn't any About info on it yet.
